Manuc Bey – o personalitate mondială marcantă și controversată
– a petrecut o perioadă din viața sa în Hîncești. Aici el își face moșie
și fondează o fabrică de vinuri, care ulterior va contribui
la modernizarea vinificației naționale. Astăzi, noi producem vinurile noastre în cinstea importanței indubitabile și a moștenirii bogate rămase în urma acestei personalități.
Manuc Bey (Emanuel Mârzaian) s-a născut în anul 1769 în orașul Rușciuc.
A fost căsătorit de două ori, a doua fiind căsătorie pe viață, Manuc moștenește averea socrului, devine bogat, apoi foarte bogat.
Șarmul și perspicacitatea lui îi câștigă numeroase titluri și onoruri.
Astfel, serdar, apoi paharnic, Manuc este numit și mare dragoman în timpul războiului ruso-turc, datorită faptului că avea grijă de aprovizionarea trupelor. Îndrăgit personal de Tersenicli-Oglu, Constantin Vodă și chiar Alexandru I, Manuc se mai încuviințează să devină și Cavaler al ordinului Sfântul Vladimir, fiind desemnat de însuși țarul. Fiecare inițiativă a lui Manuc devenea
una de succes, reușitele lui incredibile creează în juru-i o alură misterioasă, plină de legende, iar prezența sa garantează medierea celor mai complexe conflicte. Datorită lui crește economic Rușciucul, se dezvoltă relațiile
Rușciuc-București, se mediază relațiile dintre armata rusă și garnizoana otomană, iar în hanul său de la București este semnat Tratatul din 1812.
După război Manuc lasă Bucureștiul, se mută temporar la Sibiu,
apoi vine la Chișinău și se stabilește la Hîncești. Umblat prin lume,
cult și ambițios, Manuc caută, de fapt, să înființeze la Hîncești un nou oraș, fiind susținut și de Alexandru I – orașul Alexandropol. Manuc Bey propunea țarului popularea întregii regiuni cu coloniști din țările creștine din Balcani, asuprite de turci. El cumpără moșia din Hîncești cu 300 000 lei,
ridică noi clădiri, susține dezvoltarea agriculturii – regiunea înflorește.
Probabil, astăzi am vedea pe locul Hînceștiului o metropolă, să fi dus Manuc planul său până la capăt, însă moartea subită din 1817 aduce un final proiectului. Dar ideea dăinuie. Urmașii săi construiesc lângă conac un palat, un castel și alte edificii, păstrate în mare parte și până astăzi.
Iar intenția frumoasă și respectul pentru contribuția imensă dăinuie prin vinurile noastre, prin care apreciem trecutul, celebrând prezentul.

Vinificația din Moldova cunoaște o perioadă de renaștere după Tratatul de Pace de la București din 1812. Nobilimea rusă investește în vinăriile existente și începe să cultive în preponderență soiurile locale. Se aduc soiuri selecte și specialiști renumiți din Franța, alături de secrete de vinificație, preluate cu zel chiar de fiul lui Manuc, Ion-Murat. Una dintre moșii care profită pe seama acestei evoluții este cea din Hîncești, regiunea devenind una dintre cele mai productive regiuni vinificatoare din țară.
Tot aici, la Hîncești, după cel de-al Doilea Război Mondial este înființată prima fabrică de prelucrare a strugurilor din Moldova, modernizând astfel întreg proces național de vinificație. Astfel, secretele seculare și progresul tehnologic, inițiat chiar din Hîncești, se îmbină armonios într-o vinărie care își valorifică cu demnitate trecutul și vița.

Hîncești Winery has a rich historical heritage.
 
 Manuc Bey – a controversial and notable figure of worldwide importance. He lived for a period in Hîncești. In here he built his estate and founded a wine factory. The factory had an important role in modernizing the national wine-making. Today, we produce our wines to honor the unquestionable importance and the rich heritage left after Manuc Bey.
 
Manuc Bey (Emanuel Marzaian) was born in 1769 in the city of Ruse. He was married two times, the second time – for life. Manuc inherited his father-in-law’s wealth. He became rich, and after that – very rich.
His charm and perspicacity brought him multiple titles and honors. He was a serdar, later a cup-bearer. After that he was named great dragoman during the Russo-Turkish War, because he was taking care of supplying the troops. He was the personal favorite of Tersenicli-Oglu, Constantin Vodă, and even Alexander I. Later the Tsar designated him as Knight of the Order of Saint Vladimir. Every initiative Manuc had was destined for success. His incredible triumphs created a mysterious aura full of legends about him. His presence guaranteed the mediation of the most complex conflicts. Thanks to him Ruse starts to know economic growth. The Ruse-Bucharest relations are being developed. The relations between Russian army and Turkish garrison are being mediated. The Treaty of Bucharest from 1812 was signed in Manuc’s inn from Bucharest.
After the war Manuc leaves Bucharest and moves to Sibiu. Later he comes to Chisinau and establishes himself in Hîncești. He traveled the whole world, he was cultivated and ambitious, and with the support of Alexander I he intended to create a new city in Hîncești – Alexandropol. Manuc Bey was proposing to the Tsar to populate the whole region with colonists from balcanic christian countries, oppressed by the Turks. He buys the mansion from Hîncești for 300 000 lei. He builds new buildings and supports the development of agriculture – the region is blooming.
Probably, we could see a metropolis instead of Hîncești today, if Manuc’s plan was finished. But his sudden death in 1817 brings the project to an end.
But the idea remains. His successors build a palace near the mansion, a castle and other buildings. Most of them are still preserved. The beautiful intention and respect for his vast contribution is an important part of our wines. With this wine we appreciate the past, and celebrate the present.

The moldovan wine-making experiences a renaissance period after the Treaty of Bucharest from 1812. The Russian nobles invest in existing wineries and start to cultivate predominantly local varieties of grape. Prime varieties of grape are being brought to Moldova. Famous French specialist are coming to the country, bringing secrets of wine-making. These secrets are taken with enthusiasm by Manuc’s son – Ion-Murat. The estate from Hîncești is developing fast thanks to this evolution, and the region becomes one of the most productive in national wine-making.
In the same place, Hîncești, the first factory in Moldova for processing grapes is created after World War Two. This factory modernized the whole national process of wine-making. In this way, the secular secrets and the technological progress, initiated in Hîncești, harmoniously blend into a winery which values the past and the origins with dignity.

Манук-Бей – неоднозначная личность мирового уровня – провел период своей жизни в Хынчешть. Здесь он построил имение и основал винный завод, который позже внес весомый вклад для модернизации национального виноделия. Сегодня, мы производим свои вина в честь неоспоримой важности и богатого наследия которое осталось после этой личности.
Манук-Бей (Эмануэл Мырзаян) родился в 1769-ом году в городе Рущук. Был женат два раз, со второй женой прожил всю жизнь. Манук унаследовал богатство тестя, стал богатым, потом очень богатым. Шарм и проницательность принесли ему множество титулов и почестей.  Стал сердаром, потом келарем, и, впоследствии был назначен великим драгоманом во время русско-турецкой войны, благодаря тому, что он присматривал за обеспечением войск.
Личный фаворит Терсеникли-оглу, Константина Водэ, и даже Александра Первого, который посвятил его в рыцари ордена Святого Владимира. Любая инициатива Манука была обречена на успех, а его неимоверные удачи создали вокруг него таинственную ауру полную легенд. Его присутствие гарантировало разрешение самых сложных конфликтов. Благодаря ему начинается экономическое развитие города Рущук, развиваются связи Рущук-Бухарест, опосредуются отношения между русской армией и османским гарнизоном. В гостинице Манук-бея в Бухаресте был подписан Мирный Договор 1812-го года.
После войны, Манук оставил Бухарест и временно переехал в Сибиу, потом приехал в Кишинев и расположился в Хынчешть. Пройденный по миру, начитанный и амбициозный, Манук хотел основать в Хынчешть новый город, при поддержке Александра Первого – город Александрополь.
Манук предлагал царю заселить весь регион поселенцами из христианских балканских стран, угнетенными турками. Он покупает имение в Хынчешть за 300.000 леев, строит новые здания, поддерживает развитие сельского хозяйства и в итоге регион процветает.
Возможно, сегодня на месте Хынчешть мы бы видели метрополию, если бы Манук осуществил свой план до конца, но его внезапная смерть в 1817 году не дало сбыться проекту. Но, идея до сих пор жива. Его наследники строят возле особняка дворец, замок и другие здания, которые в большинстве сохранились до наших дней. Красота его намерении и уважение за его вклад присутствует в наших винах, в которых мы ценим прошлое, и празднуем настоящее.

Молдавское виноделие познало период возрождения после Бухарестского Мирного Договора 1812-го года. Русская знать инвестирует в существующие винодельни и начинает выращивать главным образом местные сорта винограда.
